Government Polytechnic College Shajapur, established in 2010, is a government institution located in Vijay Nagar, Shajapur, Madhya Pradesh is presently the only government polytechnic college in district shajapur. Affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya,bhopal and approved by the AICTE, the college focuses on providing diploma programs in engineering, specifically Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and Diploma in Electrical Engineering. Aiming to prepare students for the workforce, the college offers practical training through well-equipped laboratories.

The college also provides learning facilities such as smart classrooms, a well-equipped library, language laboratory,computer lab,well equipped workshop and well equipped laboratories of electrical and mechanical engineering department.For sports and recreation, the college offers a playground and co-curricular activities including table tennis, badminton, chess, carrom, volleyball , football and athletic activities.
